Reticulum networks, Meshify and other ISP-as-a-service concepts. ESPO Engineering designs the physical network; we build the rest out together with ESPO Dev.
How We Work Together
ISP-as-a-service means packaging the pieces of a small network — radios, towers, software, operations — so a local operator doesn't have to assemble them alone. The pieces split cleanly between ESPO Engineering and ESPO Dev.
ESPO Dev deploys a complete, self-hosted software operation on infrastructure you control, then hands you the keys and removes its own access. For these networks, that is the model for the software side.
About ESPO DevReticulum
Reticulum is a cryptography-based networking stack for building local and wide-area networks with readily available hardware. It is an overlay: it carries Reticulum traffic — messaging, files, telemetry and applications built for it.
It is not a drop-in replacement for broadband, so we scope what will ride on the network before we design the radio layer around it.
End-to-end encryption with forward secrecy, built on X25519 and Ed25519, for all communication.
Coordination-less, globally unique addressing: nobody has to hand out or manage the address space.
LoRa radio (via RNode), packet-radio TNCs, WiFi and Ethernet, serial links, and TCP or UDP tunnels over existing IP networks.
Keeps operating with extremely low bandwidth and very high latency, and does not need IP or the internet to run.

More Concepts
Reticulum is one option. We work with ESPO Dev on others, and the fixed-wireless and solar-coupled designs on our tower pages remain the right answer for many sites.
One of the ISP-as-a-service concepts we are building out with ESPO Dev. Details to follow — ask us where it might fit your site.
A tower or elevated base station serving many homes and businesses.
Wireless infrastructure co-located with solar installations and off-grid power.
Find a Starting Point
Describe your situation in a few sentences and we'll point to the approach that sounds closest. Not sure? That's what the conversation is for.
A resilient, encrypted mesh that keeps working with little bandwidth and no internet — messaging and telemetry over radio such as LoRa, for off-grid and emergency use.
A tower or elevated base station serving many homes or businesses with fixed-wireless broadband.
A dedicated high-capacity wireless link between two fixed sites, where fiber is impractical or too costly.
Wireless infrastructure co-located with a solar installation or off-grid solar-powered site — SCADA and telemetry backhaul, or community broadband.
Messaging and telemetry, or broadband for subscribers? The answer decides the radio layer.
Path analysis, siting, tower and site civil design, power — including solar and off-grid.
Zoning, FAA and FCC packages and construction-ready drawings, from the same design set.
Deployed on infrastructure you control, then handed over to you.
Tell us about the site and what you need to connect. We'll come back with a scope for the physical network and a view on the software side with ESPO Dev.
